Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for paid SocioScout plans. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this policy.
2. Subscriptions and billing cycle
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) according to the plan you select. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
3. 7-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of that first payment within 7 days of the date it was charged. This guarantee applies once per customer and covers the initial purchase only.
4. Non-refundable charges
The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Payments where the 7-day window has already passed
- Renewal charges for subsequent billing periods after your first payment
- Partial or unused portions of a billing period after the guarantee window
- Charges associated with accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund within the eligible window, email billing@socioscout.com from the email address associated with your account. Include your account details and the payment you would like refunded. We may ask for additional information to verify your request.
6. Processing time and method
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing depends on your payment provider or bank.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing; you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund outside the 7-day money-back guarantee.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
