Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data SocioScout collects, why, and what you can do about it. SocioScout is operated by PT Lini Teknologi Indonesia, Surabaya, Indonesia (“we”). We handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022).

  • Account data: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
  • Threads connection: your Threads user ID, username and access token, so SocioScout can search Threads for you. The access token is stored encrypted.
  • Business information you enter: your company profile (services, area, styles, budget), trackers, keywords and notes.
  • Public posts found by your trackers: the post text, the author’s public username, the link and the time it was posted.
  • Payments: what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment status. Card, e-wallet and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
  • Usage data: basic logs and diagnostics, and product analytics about how the app is used (pages visited, buttons clicked, and recordings of sessions with typed text and other people’s posts hidden).
  • To run SocioScout: search for posts that match your trackers, score them against your business profile, and show them to you.
  • To manage your account, plan and payments, and to send service emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use trusted service providers to run SocioScout. They process data only on our instructions:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in.
  • Vercel: hosting.
  • Meta (Threads API): searching public Threads posts with your connected account.
  • Google: “Continue with Google” sign-in, if you use it.
  • AI scoring providers (OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to): receive post text and your business profile to score how well a post matches. They do not receive your password or payment details.
  • Belibayar: payment processing in Indonesia.
  • Our email delivery provider: sending account emails.
  • PostHog: product analytics and session recordings, to see where the app is confusing. It uses cookies or browser storage to recognise a visit.
  • Sentry: error monitoring, so we can find and fix crashes. Error reports include technical details of the page or request; recordings hide all text and typed input.

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, payment records for tax purposes).

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@socioscout.com. We reply within 14 days.

  • To disconnect Threads: Settings → Threads account → Disconnect. You can also remove SocioScout in your Threads or Instagram app settings under connected apps.
  • To delete your account and all its data: email contact@socioscout.com from the email on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm when it’s done.

Data is sent over HTTPS, access tokens are encrypted, and each workspace can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as required by law.

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
